Jacksonville's Daily Gems
Living New Every Day
I have been a professional photographer in Jacksonville, FL for a few years. I have never known food to my soul as I have since I learned how to use my camera. I can leave my house for free now and have the best day if I am open to seeing the unseen. Life gets busy, everything is rush rush rush it seems. We go through the motions like robots sometimes chasing something, but what is that exactly?
I have found through photography in Jacksonville, FL and beyond that what I am chasing is THE STORY! It's the story of people and things. We and they are on this physical ground for minimum time in the big scheme of things so the story should be recorded.
I simply adore taking portraits of humans and pets. To be clear, if it has a heartbeat I'm ready to put in the time. I live for outside of the box because each individual is unique and that is the fun of it all. I learned through trial and error that if you keep learning you will get better, good, great, and expert levels. You will slide across barriers you never knew you could.
Recently I stepped into a class I didn't think would benefit me as it's not my genre at all, but the possibilities that opened up feel like the size of the St. Johns River. I can now see where taking pictures around Jacksonville and the surrounding areas can create backdrops that are unique to my customers that others will NEVER have. These images can become stand alone wall art that has a personal meaning that others can't see or a backdrop of hidden props from sessions that went to epic levels.
All these images below are from Jacksonville, FL and customer props. They are things that no one probably really looked at twice - until - a portrait photographer in Jacksonville, FL showed it to them in a different way. Do NOT give up on what you dream of and when you SEE it - record it in the best fine art way!
- Tree in the parking lot of Chick-Fil-A on Southside Blvd.
