From Branding to Paris
I was thrilled when a potential client reached out to me for branding shots for her business in divorce healing. As a photographer, I always strive to capture the essence of my clients and their businesses through my lens, and this opportunity was no different. I believe that branding shots, formally known as headshots, are more than just a professional photo. They are a representation of who you are and what your business stands for. And with this client, it was clear that her business was all about healing and moving forward from a difficult chapter in life.
As with all my sessions, I made sure to take the time to get to know my client and understand her vision for her business. I believe that building a strong connection with my clients is crucial in capturing authentic and meaningful shots. And as we chatted and shared stories, the creativity began to flow. I could see the passion and determination in her eyes, and I knew that we were going to create something special together.
But what truly intrigued me about this client was her mention of her genetics being tied to Paris. As a photographer, I love incorporating personal elements into my shots, and this detail sparked my imagination. I immediately started brainstorming ideas on how we could incorporate Paris into her images. And then it hit me - why not take her to Paris on a whim through my camera lens?
As we began the photoshoot, I could see my client's confidence and energy radiating through every shot. We laughed and joked as we captured her in different poses and settings, and it was evident that she was comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. It was a joy to witness her transformation from a potential client to a confident and empowered business owner.
In the end, we not only captured stunning branding shots for her business, but we also created a fun and memorable experience. Through my camera and our laughter, we traveled to Paris, even if only in spirit. And I couldn't be happier with the results. It's moments like these that remind me why I love what I do and the power of photography in telling a story.
